So what will be exploring: Explorations in Science, Force and Motion, Physical Properties of Matter, Mixtures and Solutions, Energy: Light, Sound, Electrical and Thermal, Landforms, Rocks, and Fossils, Fossil Fuels and Alternative Energy Sources, Earth, Moon, Sun and Their Relationships, Weather and Climate, Organisms and Their Environments.
How will be do it: Each unit will include many hands-on/minds-on learning activities to reinforce students’ understanding of content and the science process skills.
What will we share: Each student will complete a Scientist Notebook by recording the procedures and results of these activities, as well as, responding to questions that reflect what they have learned from the activity. Scientist Journals must be in class each day!
